At Temel Yazılım ("Developer", "we", "us"), we deeply respect and prioritize the privacy and security of children, parents, and teachers using the İlk Sözlük ("First Dictionary", "Application") mobile application.

This Privacy Policy is prepared in full compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / GDPR-K), Apple App Store Review Guidelines (specifically Guideline 1.3 - Kids Category and Guideline 5.1.4 - Kids), and Google Play Families Policy standards.

1. Data Collection Policy (Zero Data Collection)

The İlk Sözlük application does not request, collect, or store any personal information from its users:

• No Account Creation or Sign-in: The application does not require registration. We never ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, birthdates, or passwords.
• No Device Identifiers: We do not track, collect, or store advertising identifiers (IDFA, AAID), vendor identifiers (IDFV), MAC addresses, IP addresses, or device fingerprints.
• No Location Data: The application does not request or access coarse or precise geographical location data.
• No Camera or Microphone Access: The application does not request permissions for or access your device's camera, microphone, photo library, or contact list.

2. Local Device Storage (Offline Data Only)

All educational progress and personalization settings are kept strictly and exclusively on the user’s local device using local system storage (iOS NSUserDefaults / SharedPreferences):

• Saved / favorite vocabulary words ("Kelime Defterim"),
• In-game experience points (XP), player levels, and educational achievement badges,
• Reading preferences, including font size and light/dark theme modes,
• Game sound effects toggle and volume preferences.

None of this data is ever transmitted to or stored on external servers. If the application is uninstalled from the device, all locally stored data is permanently and automatically deleted by the operating system.

3. Audio Pronunciation Service (Anonymous & Functional Use Only)

To help students hear and learn accurate Turkish pronunciation, the application utilizes the device's built-in Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine and high-quality cloud speech synthesis (Microsoft Edge TTS):

• No Free Text Entry: This service is strictly limited to synthesizing pre-curated, curriculum-approved Turkish dictionary words and educational definitions. Users CANNOT input arbitrary text, prompts, questions, or personal messages for speech synthesis.
• Zero Personal or Device Data: Synthesis requests do not transmit user identities, user tokens, advertising identifiers (IDFA), IP profiling, or device details. Requests are completely anonymous and stateless.
• No Voice Recording: The application does not record, access, or listen to the user's voice; it solely streams the pronunciation audio of the requested dictionary word to play and cache locally on the device for offline playback.

4. 100% Ad-Free & No Tracking or Analytics

İlk Sözlük is completely ad-free. The application does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs or ad networks (such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, AppLovin, or Meta Audience Network).

Furthermore, the application does not include any third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Flurry, or Mixpanel), tracking cookies, behavioral tracking, or telemetry mechanisms.

5. External Links & Parental Gate

Within word detail views, educational reference links pointing to official Ministry of National Education curriculum textbooks (meb.ai / eba.gov.tr) may be provided for teachers and parents.

To prevent children from inadvertently navigating to an external browser or leaving the app, all outbound external links are strictly guarded behind an adult Parental Gate. A randomized adult mathematical multiplication challenge must be solved correctly before any external link can be opened, fully complying with Apple App Review Guideline 1.3.

6. Compliance with Children's Safety Laws

İlk Sözlük is specifically designed for preschool, elementary, and middle school students (Grades 1 to 8):

• COPPA Compliant: No personal data is collected from children under 13 years of age.
• Apple Kids Category Compliant: Fully compliant with Apple App Review Guidelines 1.3 (Kids Category) and 5.1.4 (Kids).
• Google Play Families Compliant: Satisfies all Google Play Families Policy requirements.
